rhodia

2025

For her 2025 collection, Christina Sfez was inspired by one art that is very prevalent where she lives in Aix en Provence: sculpture. This new collection is called Rhodia, in homage to the beloved daughter of the famous French sculptor, Antoine Bourdelle. Bourdelle was an important figure in the Art Deco movement in the early 1900s and also a catalyst in the transition to modern sculpture as we know it.

Sculpture captured Christina’s fascination because of its precision, attention to detail and the way it starts as a smooth, raw material, and is then molded and shaped into something spectacular. She envisioned this in her work and how she could mold and shape fabrics on the body to reveal the beauty and strength of her clients.

She chose some of her favorite materials to work with like a washed silk satin with a powdery appearance much like you see in historic marble sculptures, a peach skin silk crepe that echoes the sculptural form of an antique bust, and a hand-draped silk radzmir, that resembles the draping and structure.

And like every season, Christina invites color to join her signature ivory. This year, a bronze green is in the spotlight, used on a hand-dyed and hand-woven silk tulle to tie in the inspiration.

Rhodia is a collection that enhances the beauty, elegance, femininity, power and strength of women.

step 3

we try...

Your wedding dress is starting to take shape: you will see it in the fabric you have carefully chosen. Don't be surprised if some finishing touches, such as sewing on buttons or hems, are not yet done. This gives us some leeway to adjust the dress perfectly to your figure during the last appointment.

step 4

we are finalizing...

Then comes the long-awaited moment of trying on your final dress. This step is essential to adjust all the last details, such as the length of the dress, the adjustment of the belt, and any other delicate finishing touches.
