Born in Paris in 1983 in a historic artists’ village that had been home to some of the greats such as Picasso & Salvador Dali, it was no accident that Christina Sfez’s destiny held such a powerful creative endeavor.

From an early age, Christina was fascinated by the world of textiles and sewing. Her passion grew as she spent most of her younger years wandering the Marché Saint-Pierre, touching all of the fabrics, immersed in the patterns and colors. Fortunately the women in her family noticed her fever, and at age 6, she began to learn how to sew alongside them, handsewing handbags for women in Paris (and making clothes for her Barbies).

The impression left by her grandmother, mother and aunt had a profound impact on her, nourishing a lifelong love for fabrics, clothes and their creation. So it only made sense to further her passion and education at some of the most prestigious institutions, obtaining a diploma in Arts and Fashion from L’École Boulle and L’École Sevigné in Paris.

At just 21 years old, she founded her own women's fashion brand, D.dikate, which quickly became an international success with 60 points of sale around the world. While this was a dream come true, she chose to end this adventure and move towards a project that was more in alignment with her values and personal convictions. To help women channel their inner self, without changing or hiding themselves, but instead highlight their full essence.

Thus, in 2013, her wedding label, Maison Christina Sfez was born. Her heart. Her passion. Today, you can find Maison Christina Sfez internationally in her showrooms in both Marseille, France and San Diego, California.

This is the very reason she started the wedding label, Maison Christina Sfez. Nothing fills her heart more than when she sees the joy on her client’s face after putting on their dress. She quite literally gets goosebumps witnessing and creating this transformative experience for her clients.

The Christina Sfez woman is free and content. She loves herself as she is. Anyone can feel her radiance. Whether it be through her gestures, her posture, or her gaze. It’s so powerful that it touches anyone around her and invites not only others, but even herself, to love her for who she is. It’s quite simple. Designing these custom pieces is a unique experience to help her clients not only see but feel their individual beauty and power.

Sustainability & quality

All of Christina’s designs use light, soft silks and laces so they are comfortable to dance in until the end of the night. We want you to enjoy your day! This is why each of our dresses are custom-made in the highest quality materials that we can find, working with French and European suppliers from the world of haute couture (lace from Calais and Lyon, satin silks, creped, washed, embossed, pleated, etc.).

We do not offer optical white, which comes from a chemical process. Our silks are natural in color, which is that of the silk cocoon without treatment. For those who love color, we can dye the silks manually according to a range of colors selected by Christina Sfez.
