BLOOMSBURY
2024
Bloomsbury, a tribute to the London district where William Morris had his first artist's apartment.
The idea of bringing beauty and craftsmanship into everyday objects, the rejection of industrialization, promoting work and the finesse of manual work, which should not be confined to museums and bourgeois apartments, but also to everyone's apartments and objects,
The work of raw materials, with a simple geometric base cut, the shape is then refined and sublimated by pleating, gathering, floral embroidery, beaded smocking, knotting, embossing... to give life to dresses and outfits that enhance the woman's body, at once feminine, sensual, elegant and daring,
This year, the colour, which Christina is so keen on every year, is ballet pink and ink blue, with also a dress printed in Liberty made in London, printed in homage to William Morris who created many designs for this prestigious London house.
Christina was keen to continue her quest for eco-responsible materials, and we are now delighted to introduce 2 new materials: the first elegant and structured made from eucalyptus leaves, the second a soft and silky satin made from crushed orange peels, spun then woven.
